Overall Course Objective
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
• Learn the fundamentals of music and be introduced to its wonderful world.
• Learn the basics of playing Violin together with other students in a small group. Be able to have fun while learning, no prior knowledge is required.
• Develop concentration and listening skills.
• Develop inner creativity and imagination in the field of music.
• Develop self-confidence through interaction with peers in group activities.
• Learn movement and music activities based on motor development principles.
• Brief description of the basic elements of standard music notation and basic underlying concepts.
• Explanation of music enrichment, tempo and melody.
• Develop an appreciation for songs throughout musical history, from the Baroque to the Modern period.
