Emi Ashikari

A Music Instructor and piano teacher at eZoo School of Music and Fine Arts. 

 

 She graduated in Japan at Senzoku Music University, got Associate Degree in Music Education and Certification of Music for Primary and Secondary School (issued by Ministry of Education, Japan).

 

Upon graduation, she started teaching music in KAWAI music school in Tokyo, Japan.  There she followed the KAWAI curriculum in teaching children as young as 18 months up to adults.  She was also a mentor and trainer to new teachers of the school.

 

After teaching in KAWAI music school for 13 years, she came to Singapore to teach music at a Japanese private music school.  

 

In 2002, she joined eZoo music and fine arts school.  She is now the Head Music Instructor and person in-charge of lesson plans and curriculum development of the school. 

 

She teaches group lessons to Kindergarten children based on the Dalcroze Eurhythmics and provides individual lessons to children and adults for Piano/Electone.
